Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, over-sized head with bald pate, "O" shaped blue eyes with white eyedots, tiny button-shaped nose, tiny pursed lips, modeled white smock, loop-jointed arms, jointed legs and sculpted pink slippers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany (underside of smock) (original paper label on chest). Comments Germany, circa 1920, designed by the American artist, Charles Twelvetrees. Value Points: unique characterization is well detailed with blushing on knees, hand, cheeks, original label.
