14" (34 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, small open mouth with heart-shaped upper lip and impressed dimples at each lip corner, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair bobbed hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with slender elongated legs, lower legs jointed above the knees, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117X Germany 34. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, rare variation of the beloved Mein Liebling, circa 1912. Value Points: most appealing and distinctive "X" version of Mein Liebling, with rare original body and body finish, carrying vintage Scotty dog.
