14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted brown hair with defined forelock curls, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short wavy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, black velvet double-breasted jacket with brass buttons, shoes, socks, carrying little tin horn. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: II 154/4. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, for Kley and Hahn, circa 1910. Value Points: choice bisque and modeling, wonderful antique costume.
