Solid domed composition shoulderhead depicting older child, large blue sleep eyes, painted short lashes and one-stroke brows, closed mouth with painted row of teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, cloth torso and jointed upper arms and legs, composition lower arms and legs, bare feet, well costumed (may be original). Condition: generally excellent, some craquelure under wig. Comments: maker uncertain, circa 1925. Value Points: captivating expression of the wide-eyed American child.
