Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump cheeks, amber brown glass inset eyes with darker brown iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale accented lips, pierced ears, original blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with square cut collarette, gusset-jointing at hips and knees, curved kid arms, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4/0 (head and shoulders) Bebe Brevete SGDG Paris (paper label on torso). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his earliest period bebe, circa 1877. Value Points: rare tiny size 4/0 of the impeccably-preserved bebe, original wig, original sturdy body, original costume including chemise, undergarments, (pantalets with pencil notation 4/0) silk dress, earrings, bonnet, socks, and Bru leather shoes marked with "B" in oval and "0000".
