Description
17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading and darker blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pale accented lips, pierced ears, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and shoulderplate). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: fine quality of bisque whose delicate complexion has soft rose blush, original sturdy body.
