8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted short brown curly tousled hair, enamel eyes, mouth modeled open with teeth and tongue, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted blue stockings and brown shoes with red buckles, wearing original striped pants, (worn) brown homespun shirt, flannel vest, and carrying leather sack. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
