17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, very chubby face, narrow blue side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, rose eye shadow, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with bow-shaped pursed lips, blonde mohair wig in center part with soft arranged curls, felt body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (on both feet) Lenci (cloth tag on train) Lenci (paper label on flowers). Comments: Lenci, from the 1500 series, circa 1932. Value Points: very rare model featuring a fretful-faced bride wearing original very elaborate gown with extended train, organdy pink ruffled underslip, socks, felt shoes, felt flowers forming a coronet in her hair and bouquets of flowers in each hand.
