26" (66 cm.) Standing upon a wooden platform is a bisque-headed doll with blue glass eyes, lashes, painted lower lashes, open mouth, four teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, carton torso and legs, wire upper arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 71 Unis France 149 301. Comments: French, circa 1915, when wound and lever released, the girl turns her head side to side, and removes her right hand from muff, lifting it to her mouth, and throws kisses, while music plays. Value Points: fine lustrous bisque, wearing original velvet costume and bonnet, mechanism and music function well.
