Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with sculpted bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral-threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms and hands, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 1 (head) No 1 Bru Jne (shoulders) Bebe Bru Bte SGDG...(paper label on chest). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884. Value Points: very choice and rare bebe, size 1, with original body, perfect hands, wearing original Bru silk dress and bonnet, undergarments, socks, leather shoes (one sole replaced) incised Bru Jne Paris 1.
