23" (58 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked hair in short boyish manner, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, defined tongue tip and two upper beaded teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2080- 6. Comments: Bruno Schmidt, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with exceptional detail of modeling around the eye corners, double chin and very deeply impressed dimples at cheek centers, wearing wonderful antique gentleman's suit with satin jacket and vest with velvet lapels.
