12" (30 cm.) A paper mache kitten with lavish white fur cover, green glass eyes, painted pink nose and long curly tail, is posed standing with arms extended, right arm holding a pink rose, and left hand holding a pink feather fan. When key-wound, the kitten turns head side to side, and alternately lifts the flower to his nose, and then fans himself. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R.D. Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1900. Value Points: charming musical kitten is wonderfully preserved, and functions well.
