17" (43 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, short painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with well-defined accented lips, very full cheeks and chin, mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6970 7 (Heubach sunburst mark) Germany (head) (original Holz-Masse stamp on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine subtle blushing of complexion enhances the well-detailed modeling around the mouth and chin, rarer glass-eyed variation of the model, original body and body finish, antique costume.
