Description
6" (15 cm.) Each of the matched pair depicts a young tousle-haired child having fallen asleep at her play while seated in chair, each with elaborately decorated sculpted costume, one posed with a playful kitten, and the other with a toy jester clown lying on the chair tray. Each figure separates at the tray level to provide access to the trinket box interior. Excellent condition. Germany, mid-1800s.
