24" (61 cm.) Carved wooden shoulder head with rounded face, carved black hair in center part with deep horizontal comb marks, painted complexion and facial features, large blue eyes, closed mouth, blush spots on cheeks, kid gusset-jointed lady body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: original finish overall albeit craquelure. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: the rare large wooden shoulder head doll is wearing a beautiful French silk gown.
