14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with long-faced modeling, bright blue glass paperweight inset eyes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, heart-shaped upper lip, dimples in philtrum and chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing lovely antique aqua silk dress and woven bonnet, undergarments, and tan leather shoes incised with full figure of doll. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.R. 5. Comments: Falck-Roussel, circa 1885, who registered his Bebe Mignon in that year, the bebe having a distinctive facial model. Value Points: especially beautiful doll with very choice bisque and expression.
