Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with three faces that can be alternately revealed by turning the knob at the top of the head; one face has ebony-black complexion, brown glass inset eyes, black brows, closed mouth; another face has light brown complexion, brown glass eyes, closed mouth; the third face has white complexion with closed eyelids as though sleeping, closed mouth, with cardboard hood and shoulder plate, carton torso, composition arms and legs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.B. (circle). Comments: Carl Bergner, circa 1892. Value Points: rare variation of the three-faced doll with three complexion variations.
