18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with rounded face and strong throat, sculpted long brown ringlet curled hair crowned by a woven straw bonnet with painted black band and bow and a generous arrangement of Dresden flowers, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, sculpted white and gold beads and cross, muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on stockings and black kidskin boots, beautifully costumed in antique gown. Condition: generally excellent, few little flakes on Dresden flowers of bonnet. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: beautifully sculpted brown hair and fancy bonnet, original body, lovely costume.
