Description
14" (36 cm.) seated elephant. Each is firmly-stuffed grey mohair with large over-sized ears, large eyes with pronounced pupils, grey woolen paw pads, pink felt trunk tip, painted detail of claws. Including seated elephant with cream felt open mouth, red felt collar, swivel head and jointed limbs; and standing 9" elephant with red felt blanket white felt tusks, with Steiff button in ear and yellow cloth label "0500". Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, circa 1950s.
