Description
3" (8 cm.) Designed as a stylish lady's bag,with blue silk cover on the front and blue leather on the back,decorated with richly-scrolled appliques and drops,the "purse" opens to ivory silk faille-lined interior,containing a dance book and pencil. The purse is gilt lettered on the reverse "24 Janner 1875" with symbol of the Ladies Ball of Vienna,and has blue leather strap and gilt metal fancy clip. Excellent condition. Vienna,1875.
