3" (8 cm.) x 2". In the shape of a lavishly-bound leather book with gilt tooling that centers a black silk panel decorated with a nosegay of bisque flowers and leaves. With rose silk lined interior,gilt-edged pages of the dance order,with gilt lettering indicating Ball of the Metropole,19 January of 1878. With gilt metal clip in the shape of a bow,green silk cord and tassel,pencil. Excellent condition. Vienna,1878.
