Bisque socket head with elongated face and very full lower cheeks, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, mauve-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils and eye corners, pierced ears, modeled mouth with defined space between the outlined shaded lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sch (in shield on head and derriere) 3. Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1884. Value Points: finest quality of bisque and painting enhanced by artistic blush on eyelids, chin and cheeks, original body in rarer toddler body, original body finish, antique mariner costume.
