8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head, painted black hair under attached turban, enamel eyes, thick black brows and moustache, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted green boots, wearing original costume comprising velvet breeches, metallic tunic, homespun jacket. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
