Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso with chubby rounded shape, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, long painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with tiny shy smile, brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders, elbows, and thighs, painted white socks with blue rims, brown one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1920. Value Points: very rare all-bisque googly with extra body articulation at elbows and knees, very fine modeling and quality of bisque, original wig. Ex-Collection Puppen and Spielzeug Museum of Vienna.
