Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) The firm-sided coffret is covered with lush patterned slate blue velvet,with tiny silver feet,handles,embossed medallion at the front,and an elaborately-shaped silver handle. It opens to a gold silk lined interior containing the silk-covered dance book with lettering Industriellen Ball of February 1882,with pencil. With braid cord,tassels and clip. That ball is considered one of the most prestigious,and its ballspenden were,necessarily,of the highest order and originality. Excellent condition. Vienna,1882.
