16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 90(very faint 5). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885, Value Points: rare early model, the handsome lad has expressive features and is wearing wonderful silk Marquis costume with embroidered details, tricorn hat.
