18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brilliant cobalt blue enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips, very shapely legs, bisque arms to above the elbows, curled fingers. Condition: generally excellent, fine restoration to two fingers. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: especially beautiful face with exquisite painting, brilliant eyes, rare body style, and wearing antique gown, undergarments, leather shoes signed C.P.
