Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket, very pudgy face, painted tan baby hair with detailed curls, blue glass sleep eyes, tinted brows, accented nostrils, pug nose, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, composition toddler body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 125 2 12 Germany. Comments: attributed to Hertel and Schwab, circa 1928, the model closely resembles the composition Patsy Baby but a relationship between the two dolls is not documented at this time. Value Points: rare model with most endearing expression, excellent bisque, wearing antique Scottish costume and cap.
