16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with very plump face, sculpted white shawl over sculpted blonde hair with defined bangs, beautifully defined draping of shawl onto shoulders, crowned by a double-tiered purple ruffle, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, commercial kid body with bisque forearms, antique white pique gown with cutwork trim, undergarments, stockings, and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 996 #4. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1875. Value Points: very rare model with superb detail of sculpted hair, shawl and ruffled coronet.
