10" (25 cm.) Terra cotta sculpture portrays a young child seated on a knoll, his knees bent across each other as he clings to his toes with his left hand, while his right closed fist hand is held to his face, with details of sculpted hair and facial features, natural finish. The sculpture in incised by the artist "A. Marque No.3" on the base. Excellent condition. French, Albert Marque, early 1900s.
