Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) In the shape of a drop-front lady's desk,having gilt metal and ormolu frame with embossed designs and beaded edging has a center medallion with colorful decoupage of a basket of flowers. The desk opens to a burgundy silk-lined interior with compartments containing stationery tied with little silk ribbons,along with a silk covered dance book with gilt lettering "Industriellen Ball 1883" and names of the dances for the evening,with attached pencil,cord,tassels,and clip. Near mint condition. Vienna,1883.
