Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is all celluloid with highly characterized features based upon the comic illustrations of George Studdy, with swivel head and jointed limbs, presented in a fitted dog bed. Excellent condition. The character dogs were illustrated in a 1929 catalog of Karl Standfuss of Dresden, Germany, shown in Cieslik's German Doll Encyclopedia, page 306.
