18" (46 cm.) Felt swivel head with very plump cheeks and chin, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, curly upper lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pouting expression, accent dots on bottom lip, brunette mohair braids, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, from the 1500 series, circa 1926. Value Points: imaginative and colorful costume comprising applique patterned dress, yellow felt bonnet, undergarments, stockings, black felt shoes; the highly-characterized little girl carries a pet mohair duck with felt beak.
