The heavy paper stock box with lithographed paper cover centering an image of a beautiful woman opens to reveal original well-fitted luxury accessories for small bebe or poupee, comprising bone fan with fretwork and hand-painted blue silk panels; double-strand pearls; pearl earrings; chatelaine with lorgnette, watch, and pearl penknife; wooden handled mirror and matching brush; blue silk framed powder puff; and hat pins. French, circa 1875, perfectly preserved, a rich assortment of miniature accessories and jewelry in their original presentation signify the French taste and talent for these luxury objects.
