14" (36 cm.) Standing upon a wooden platform with spoked wheels is a bisque swivel-head lady with bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, un-pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, block torso and legs with painted shoes, wire upper arms, wooden hands. When pulled along, the lady turns her head side-to-side and waves the butterfly net. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: head by Simon and Halbig for the French market, circa 1875. Value Points: dainty luxury toy, the beautiful doll with charming activity wears her completely-original costume of silks and velvets, carries basket of flowers.
