18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, grey eyes with shaded details in slight upper-glancing expression, black upper eyeliner, white eyedots, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth appearing as though open with painted row of teeth, smiling expression with shaded and accented lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 7 1/2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their very rare art character series. Value Points: distinctive smiling expression accentuated by deeply-impressed cheek dimples and upturned lip corners.
