Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Designed in the shape of a spinning wheel, the silvered metal symbol has white woven silk floss, and is decorated with a rose silk banner with gilt lettering "Feret [?] die Frauen", with tassel and hook, and with unusual circular dance cards hidden on the underside of the base. Excellent condition. Vienna, late 1800s, designed as a remembrance of a ceremonial ball of the era.
