4 1/2" (11 cm.) x 3". In the style of a Renaissance scroll,being firm-sided and covered with burgundy velvet and silk,with metallic braid fringe,the ballspenden is decorated with a raised design of a spread-wing swan perched atop a gilt lyre and book of music,with rich colors,and with original gilt cord and tassels,original pencil. Gilt lettering on the reverse notes the day of the 25th anniversary ball,April 8,and the years 1870-1895. Near mint condition. Vienna,1895
