7" (18 cm.) Each is all-bisque with swivel head, sculpted short curly hair including defined tendrils of curls onto the forehead, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, two lower teeth, toddler body with loop-jointed arms and legs, white painted socks, one with painted blue shoes and one with pink. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 17 (arms) 897 17 (legs) Bonnie Babe copr. by Georgene Averill Reg. US Pat Off Germany (paper label on chests). Comments: Germany, circa 1920 from the original designs of the American doll artist, Georgene Averill. Value Points: the charming pair, in matching brother and sister costumes to match the pink or blue shoes, have original paper labels.
