20" (6 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump face, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with tiny stuck-out tongue, shaded outlined lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume. Condition: bisque excellent, body is original and has original finish albeit somewhat scuffed. Marks: F 8 G. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1885. Value Points: especially beautiful doll with richly defined and painted features.
