Description
2" (5 cm.) square. The book-shaped case with elaborate open fretwork designs in rich ormolu is decorated with an enamel four-leaf clover for luck,with dangling gold bead tassel,and medallion loop with ornate crest. The album opens to tiny interior silk book with order-of-the-dance pages,original dainty pencil,and indication that this is the Four Citizens Ball of Weiden (neighborhood of Vienna). Excellent condition. Vienna,1896.
