18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, very plump cheeks, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pale outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 8 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: lovely shy-faced bebe with rich brown eyes, original body and body finish, wearing lovely antique maroon linen like mariner dress and cap, undergarments, stockings, shoes.
