Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, large brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wonderful antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 138 3. Comments: Sonneberg, mystery maker, circa 1882. Value Points: especially captivating expression on the plump-faced doll with very large brown eyes, beautiful complexion and painting, original body and body finish, antique costume.
