4" (10 cm.) The paper mache or wood-composite doll has gofun finish with shadowed bald pate, tiny glass eyes, painted features, open mouth, teeth, black hair sidelocks, paper mache lower arms and legs and is wearing a silk crepe kimono with transfer printed design and colorful chirimen edging. Excellent condition with some light frailty to chirimen edging. Early 1900s.
