11" (28 cm.) Carved head on wooden neck extension to allow for high collar, carved and painted hair in unique style with rolled brim-like curl at the forehead with coral bow, stippled detail of hair at front of ears and narrow braid coiled around the back of head, sculpted and tinted facial features, tiny deeply set eyes, tinted brows, unusual broad nose, cloth body, wooden lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1925. Value Points: extremely rare model with distinctive facial model as well as coiffure.
