Description
6" (15 cm.) Each is of very firm paper mache, with nodding-jointed head on one-piece body, depicting a courtly lady and gentleman with sculpted and painted hair, facial features, and elaborate costumes, and posed in a dynamic manner on original base. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1800. Value Points: rare nodding heads and beautifully-decorated costumes with matching floral details.
