Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown sculpted boyish hair with forelock curl, brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, wavy brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 154/6. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque on the young lad known as Tommy Tucker, with original body and body finish, antique costume and carrying lithographed tin lunch pail.
