15" (38 cm.) Bisque shoulder head, very large grey glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, thick brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, kid gusset-jointed body with bisque lower arms, wearing beautiful antique blue gown with lace trim, fur muff, lace bonnet, undergarments, black slippers with buckle trim. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3. Comments: Kestner, circa 1884. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed look on the early closed mouth doll.
