Description
17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with petulant shaped lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, felt arms and legs. Condition; generally excellent, some light fading on jacket. Marks: (Lenci cloth and paper labels). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, the doll was presented in the 1928 catalog as model 300S. Value Points: the early model is wearing well-detailed original Tyrolean costume with polka dot felt tie, embroidered suspenders, silver-button studded belt lederhosen, woolen stockings, and leather shoes, and carries a bouquet of felt flowers.
