16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted short boyish hair, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, two rows of sculpted teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig 611 7. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare model number, previously undocumented in Cieslik Doll Marks studies, with adult-like deeply impressed facial features, original body and body finish, wearing antique woolen gentleman's suit with bow tie, black stockings, leather shoes, carrying wooden-handled parasol.
